Thomas Martin "Mart" Ulmer Sr.

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Thomas Martin “Mart” Ulmer Sr., age 54, of Jefferson, who passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. Mr. Ulmer was born in Warner Robbins, Georgia, a son to Mr. and Mrs. Owen and Jackie Ulmer of Athens, Georgia. Mr. Ulmer owned and operated the McSteele Company.

Survivors include his wife, Leigh Ann Ulmer of Jefferson; children, Hank Adams of Birmingham, AL, Katherine Adams of Brunswick, GA, Britni Adams of St. Simons Island, GA, Tommy Ulmer Jr. of Bogart, Ken Ulmer of Bogart, Greg Moxley of Milledgeville, McKenzie Ulmer of Jefferson and Steele Ulmer of Jefferson; parents,  Owen and Jackie Ulmer of Athens; brother Chris Ulmer of El Paso, TX; sister, Michelle Anthony of Athens; and eight grandchildren also survive.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens, Georgia, with Reverend Wesley Gaddis officiating.
