Tucker Grizzle

Mr. Tucker Grizzle, age 21, of Dahlonega passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020.

Tucker was born in Hall County on July 12, 1998. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Jimmy Grizzle, maternal grandmother Connie Gooch, and maternal great-grandfather Bert Gooch. Tucker graduated from the Lumpkin County Mountain Education Program. Described by those who loved him most, Tucker was known as a “gentle giant”. He had a heart as big as himself. Tucker loved gaming and hiking. He loved - as much as any American boy - baseball and football. Tucker attended Yahoola Baptist Church as a boy and later he attended Free Chapel in Gainesville. He will forever be known for his “laid back” personality and willingness to help anyone he could.

Survivors include his parents John and Sandy Grizzle; brothers and sisters-in-law Tyler and Kimber Grizzle, and Cody and Micah Grizzle; nephews Carson Grizzle, and Bryce Grizzle; niece Blakely Grizzle; maternal grandparents Tommy and Donna Gooch; paternal grandparents Michael and Linda Gaddis; and maternal great-grandmother Ruby Gooch, all of Dahlonega. Several other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday, June 1, 2020 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell and the Rev. Terry Head will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
