GAINESVILLE - The Georgia Scholar Program recognizes high school seniors who have achieved excellence in school and community life.
High School seniors qualify for this distinction by meeting rigorous criteria involving outstanding SAT scores, a 3.75 or higher GPA, letters of recommendation, involvement in several competitive interscholastic activities, and leadership roles in both the school and community.
The Hall County School System has three students who have been named Georgia Scholars for 2014:
Morgan Ivey: Chestatee High School
Drew Smith: Chestatee High School
Anna Black: Flowery Branch High School
