Woman found unresponsive in Lumpkin Co. pool

DAHLONEGA - Lumpkin County authorities say a woman who was found unresponsive in a private pool Tuesday afternoon has been hospitalized.

Lumpkin County Sheriff's Department spokesman Darren Martin said the 54-year-old woman was taken to Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega after being found in the pool at a house on Georgia Highway 115 around 4:00.
