With the warmer weather and holiday weekends arriving, the National Safe Boating Council is getting ready to once again launch "Safe Boating Week" across the country.
Plans for residential development on several tracts of land surrounding the recently-build roundabout at the intersection of Sardis Road and Ledan Road in northwest Hall County have been approved by the county board of commissioners.
The Hall County Commission will decide Tuesday evening whether to allocate over $800,000 towards improvements to an intersection near an elementary school in the north end of the county.
In the latest round of residential development in the city, the Flowery Branch City Council gave final approval to changes to site plans for a more-than 300 lot neighborhood at its Thursday meeting.
