State BOE OKs new teacher, leader evaluation measures
The State Board of Education has adopted a new rule, establishing that all school systems and charter schools will implement the Teacher Keys Effectiveness System (TKES) and Leader Keys Effectiveness System (LKES) by the 2014-2015 school year.

Applications for US jobless aid up 16K to 326,000
