Koyo Bearings USA expanding Dahlonega plant, adding jobs
Koyo Bearings USA LLC is bringing new jobs and adding production capacity of its roller bearings plant in Dahlonega. Approximately 50 production associate and salaried positions will be created, in addition to construction jobs related to the expansion of the facility.

NGCSU to host Rodin exhibit
North Georgia College & State University (NGCSU) and the Dahlonega Arts Council will present "Rodin: The Figure in Bronze," a show of 24 posthumous original bronze sculptures by Auguste Rodin beginning Saturday and continuing through July 10 in the school's Library Technology Center.

Employers add 244k jobs; jobless rate ticks up to 9 pct
Employers added more than 200,000 jobs in April for the third straight month, the biggest hiring spree in five years. But the unemployment rate rose to 9 percent in part because some people resumed looking for work.
