NDO cancels start of heating assistance program
With the official start of winter still week away, federal funds to help the poor pay heating bills have already been exhausted in Atlanta. In addition, Gainesville-based Ninth District Opportunity (NDO) which administers such funds in 13 northeast Georgia counties says it will not start its program today as planned.

But family members of 26-year-old Calvin ``Cal'' Key Wilson Jr. say they're still struggling to understand what led to his death. They also want to learn more about how he died in the predawn darkness Friday on Interstate 85.
