Valdosta State top seed in Div II; Albany State gets bid
Valdosta State received the No. 1 seed in the Southeast Region for the NCAA Division II playoffs, earning a first-round bye. Albany State also got into the 24-team field. The Golden Rams will open the playoffs at Catawba next Saturday.

Georgia returns to the Stegeman Coliseum floor for the second time in 42 hours Sunday afternoon when the Lady Bulldogs host George Mason. Gainesville native Tasha Humphrey chipped in 13 points to help lead Georgia to an 81-53 victory over Richmond Friday night.
