East Hall handed Franklin County its first Region 7-AAA loss of the season Friday night in an 8-3 victory at East Hall Park.

The Gainesville boys tennis team swept the doubles to win a tight match with over Lakeview Academy 3-2 Wednesday at Longwood Park.

With nearly half of the region schedule still left to be played, the fate of Region 8-AAAA is likely to be decided Wednesday and Friday when Class AAAA No. 1 Buford and No. 7 North Hall tangle in their home-and-home region series.
