U.S. World Cup team arrives in South Africa
The U.S. World Cup team arrived in Johannesburg on Monday following a 17-hour flight and was greeted by the same visible security presence that was on hand for the arrival for other countries.

Kurt Busch wins Coca-Cola 600 to sweep Charlotte
It was only fitting to have Roger Penske and Chip Ganassi cars chasing each other for a victory in a Memorial Day weekend race. That it happened at Charlotte Motor Speedway in a NASCAR race, and not at their beloved Indianapolis Motor Speedway, likely didn't matter to either team owner.

LSU takes SEC title
Second baseman Tyler Hanover knocked in the game-winning run in the top of the 11th inning with a single to left, and junior right-hander Anthony Ranaudo fired three final shutout innings to lift LSU to a 4-3 victory over Alabama in 11 innings to clinch the SEC Tournament Championship Sunday afternoon in Regions Park.
