Emily Hammond took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and then helped at the plate in the eighth inning as West Hall took a crucial 1-0 win over Lumpkin County Monday in Region 7-AAA girls softball action.

Green, Walsh lead No. 21 Georgia past Arizona St.
A.J. Green hauled in eight passes for 153 yards, including a 56-yard touchdown, but his biggest play was a blocked field goal that helped No. 21 Georgia to escape with a 20-17 victory over Arizona State on Saturday night. Blair Walsh kicked a 37-yard field goal for the Bulldogs as time ran out.
