Track: McCormack overcomes 'fighting chicken' to win AAA 3,200
North Hall’s Ty McCormack came into Friday’s 3,200-meter final at the Georgia Games with one singular goal: breaking the all-classification record of 8:52.5 set in 1974 by Ralph King of St. Pius. Only one thing could keep him from his quest: a fighting chicken.
