Metro State knocks out No. 1 Lady Saints
The storybook season of the North Georgia softball team came to a close on Saturday evening as Metro State used the a pair of home runs to take a 4-1 win and eliminate the Saints from the 2010 NCAA Division II World Series at Heritage Park.

Ga Tech-NCSU game suspended due to weather
Georgia Tech's baseball game against NC State at the 2010 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships has been suspended due to heavy rain and lightning in the Greensboro area Friday night. The game will resume at 10:04 a.m. Saturday at NewBridge Bank Park.
