The West Hall girls basketball team continues to roll at the right time. The Lady Spartans won their fifth straight Region 8B-AAA game after beating Oconee County 40-28 Tuesday night at the West Hall gym.

North Hall opened the game with a 15-2 run and then cruised to a 72-52 win over Lumpkin County Friday night in Region 8A-AAA action.

The North Hall girls remained perfect in Region 8A-AAA after whipping Lumpkin County 57-28 Friday night on the road.

East Hall snapped Dawson County's Region 8A-AA win streak at three after taking a 79-61 win on the road Friday night.

The Buford girls started strong and never let up in producing a 75-12 blowout of Clarkston Friday night.

T.J. Shipes and A.J. Davis each recorded double-doubles to lead the Buford boys past Clarkston 78-52 Friday night in a Region 6A-AA contest.

The Gainesville boys opened the game strong and then held on for a 69-58 win over rival Johnson Friday night in Region 8B-AAA.

West Hall is getting hot at the right time.

East Hall kept pace with Union County in Region 8A-AA after a taking a 63-46 win over Dawson County Friday night.

Chestatee rallied from a halftime deficit to beat Stephens County 60-53 Friday night in Region 8A-AAA boys action.
