Braves chase Santana early in rout of Mets
Freddie Freeman and the Atlanta Braves sent a struggling Johan Santana to another early exit. Freeman had five RBIs in the first two innings and the Braves battered Santana in his return from the disabled list, routing the sluggish New York Mets 9-3 on Saturday night.

Maholm throws 3-hitter, Braves blank Mets
Paul Maholm made David Ross' fill-in night behind the plate a pleasurable one. The left-hander pitched a three-hitter in his second start for Atlanta and the Braves got two-run homers from Jason Heyward and Dan Uggla to beat the New York Mets 4-0 on Friday.

Tiger Woods shares lead at PGA Championship
Through 11 hours of relentless wind, with gusts up to 30 mph that turned the Atlantic Ocean choppy with white caps, about the one thing that looked vaguely familiar was Tiger Woods making one putt after another. He had a 1-under 71, one of only four rounds under par on the Ocean Course, to share the lead with Vijay Singh and Carl Pettersson going into the weekend.
