The Hall County Republican Party announced Wednesday its official endorsement of former President Donald Trump as the 2024 Republic Presidential Nominee.
In a statement on social media, the local Republican party cited Trump's recent 51% victory in the Iowa Caucuses.
"All the former Republican candidates for President, sans Nikki Haley, have suspended their campaigns and endorsed Trump," the statement said.
The statement also cited the 2020 election fraud trial currently underway in Fulton County.
"It is evident that Fani Willis has behaved in an unethical and corrupt manner to prosecute Donald J. Trump, and, the case against him, and the others charged by Willis, should be dismissed," the statement said.
Additionally, the statement said Republicans should "unite to defeat Joe Biden and win The White House."
The Georgia Presidential Primary has not been held. It is scheduled for March 12.
