Margaret Huang Casey, CFP ® ️, Chief Service Officer, collaborates with SignatureFD’s senior leadership team to execute the firm’s strategic initiatives. With more than 24 years of experience in wealth management, she has held a variety of roles, from client and employee operations to advisory and investment services, to business management. She has served on numerous industry and non-profit boards, including the Financial Planning Association of Austin, the Schwab Technology, Operations & Service Advisory Board, and Breakthrough Central Texas. Margaret has been nominated multiple times for the Austin Business Journal's Profiles in Power and for Austin's 40 Under 40 Mentor of the Year award in 2020. She is also the founder of Money Circle ATX, an initiative that provides judgement-free experiences for women to openly discuss finances.
Tim Maurer, CFP ®, RLP ®, Chief Advisory Officer, leads the collaborative development of SignatureFD’s team of advisors, helping them empower clients to activate their wealth in four key areas – Grow, Protect, Give, and Live – to achieve their goals. As a wealth adviser, Tim taught the Fundamentals of Financial Planning at his alma mater, Towson University, for seven years. He educates in the public sphere as a regular columnist for Forbes and as a member of the CNBC Advisor Council. Tim’s second book, “ Simple Money,” explores the connective tissues between wealth management and behavioral science, and he has shared his insight with NBC’s TODAY Show, NPR’s Marketplace, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal, among others. Prior to joining SignatureFD, he led Buckingham Wealth Partners’ advisor development program and subsequently served as the Head of Wealth Management for Triad Financial Advisors.
Alex J. Moss, CFP ®, Wealth Adviser, guides clients through complex financial matters, while pursuing his passion for philanthropy by supporting the SignatureGENEROSITY team. He began his career as a financial advisor in the insurance and banking industries and now serves as a CFP ® Practitioner for SignatureFD’s national client base. Alex is a member of the Charlotte Estate Planning Council, serves on the board of The Advocate Mission, a non-profit which supports foster families, and leads the finance team within the Meck Institute, the community college arm of Mecklenburg Church, where he volunteers as a teacher and mentor.
