10 people displaced after Gainesville apartment building fire

10 people were displaced after a fire Sunday morning at a small apartment building east of Gainesville.

According to a press release from Hall County Fire Rescue, crews responded at about 8:20 a.m. to the fire in the 1800 block of Tulip Drive. 

Arriving crews found the small apartment building with smoke showing. All occupants had exited their units prior to the arrival of fire personnel.

The bulk of the fire was contained in one apartment on the second floor.

The American Red Cross was notified for 10 residents who were displaced from three different apartments due to the damage. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office.
