By Hamilton Keener Anchor / Reporter

Margaritaville at Lanier Islands announced they will debut a new waterslide coaster named Apocalypso in 2024.

In a release, Margaritaville said Apocalypso is Georgia's first waterslide coaster.

Apocalypso is “a fusion of heart-pounding drops and uphill blasts that will keep you on the edge of your seat,” Margaritaville said.

The attraction sends riders on rafts down drops and through valleys over the 418 feet of the slide.

Apocalypso is opening alongside three additional slides called Serpentine Storm, Dreamsicle Dive and Mango Mania.

Margaritaville at Lanier Islands will feature 15 slides with the additions of these new attractions.
