A woman from Lula died Tuesday after she was seriously injured in a two-vehicle wreck Saturday morning on Georgia 365 in Hall County.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, Millie Louise Thomas, 84, passed away Tuesday afternoon at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville from injuries sustained in the wreck.
GSP previously told AccessWDUN the wreck happened at about 11:20 a.m. Saturday on Ga. 365 near Jaemor Farms Road.
Thomas was driving a Toyota Corolla north on Ga. 365 when it entered the U-Turn lane north of Jaemor Farms Road. Thomas allegedly failed to yield to a Kia Sorento driven by Joanna Guadalupe Gonzalez-Paz, 23, of Maysville, which was driving south on Ga. 365 in the right-hand lane.
Both vehicles traveled off the shoulder and struck a guardrail after the impact.
Gonzalez-Paz was also taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. GSP was unable to provide an update on her condition on Wednesday morning.
The crash remains under investigation.

According to a press release from the Georgia State Patrol, troopers responded at about 11:20 a.m. to the crash at Jaemor Farms Road.
