All lanes of Lanier Islands Parkway have reopened following a gas line rupture Thursday afternoon.

A gas line rupture Thursday afternoon led to closures of lanes on Lanier Islands Parkway in Hall County.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office said just before 2 p.m. all eastbound lanes and one westbound lane of the roadway were closed near B.U. Bowman Drive.
Hall County Sheriff's deputies are on scene assisting with traffic.
Drivers are urged to take alternate routes and expect heavy delays.
