Gwinnett County Police searching for identity fraud suspect

Gwinnett County Police Detectives have asked for the public's help identifying a suspect who recently fraudulently obtained over $19,000 from a victim's bank account.

According to a press release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, the suspect entered the Truist Bank at 2171 Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth at about 1:30 p.m. on June 14. The suspect presented an ID with the victim's personal identifying information.

The suspect then cashed a check for $6,111.23 and withdrew $13,607 from the victim's bank account.

Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
