A Cleveland man is behind bars facing multiple charges of child molestation after an alleged incident that happened on Memorial Day in Lula.

Hall County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer B.J. Williams said Joshua Allen Nutting, age 38, was arrested Tuesday after an investigation into the alleged incident that happened at a gathering on Belton Bridge Road.

"While they were, Nutting apparently showed the victim some pornographic images on his cell phone," Williams said. "At the same time, he was performing an indecent act in the presence of this young girl."

The victim was under 16 years old at the time of the alleged incident. Williams said Nutting also provided a THC vape cartridge to the victim multiple times during the gathering.

Nutting faces two counts of child molestation and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is being held in the Hall County Jail without bond at last report.
