A portion of Gordon Avenue in Gainesville will be temporarily closed Thursday.
According to a press release from the City of Gainesville Water Resources Department, Gordon Avenue between Parker Street and Banks Street and the intersection with Gordon Avenue and Banks Street will be closed to thru traffic from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 29.
The department said municipal court traffic can enter the court parking lot through the entrance on Banks Street.
Emergency traffic only will be permitted from police/fire stations onto Banks Street traveling toward Queen City Parkway.
Drivers are asked to use caution and watch for construction workers and equipment in the area.
