Habersham County to hold Town Hall meeting on public safety

Habersham County Government announced Monday it will soon hold a rescheduled Town Hall meeting with a focus on public safety.

According to a press release from the county, Habersham County Commissioner Bruce Palmer will hold the public meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 in Clarkesville.

The event will spotlight Habersham County Animal Care and Control, Habersham County E-911, Habersham County Emergency Services and the Habersham County Sheriff's Office.

The meeting was originally scheduled for March 27 but was postponed.

The Town Hall will be held in Rooms A and B of the Habersham County Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center, 120 Paul Franklin Road, Clarkesville.

Palmer and officials from the county's public safety agencies will be there to answer residents' questions.

This is not an official Habersham County Board of Commissioners meeting, and no action will be taken.
