The Banks County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday afternoon one person was injured and another was in custody after a shooting just before midnight Tuesday.
According to a press release from the agency, the shooting happened in the area of Groover Lane.
The sheriff's office said one person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and another is in custody.
Investigators believe both parties knew each other before the incident and there is not any known threat to the public.
More details will be released when the investigation is complete.
