A Lilburn man was arrested Thursday in Jackson County after he allegedly illegally entered vehicles as well as a home in the Hoschton area.

According to a press release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Arturo Miguel Magana-Albino, 36, was charged with burglary, three counts of entering auto, criminal attempt to commit a theft and loitering/prowling.

The sheriff's office first responded Thursday to a call at Regent Park in Hoschton in regards to a man who had been caught trespassing on multiple properties and entering vehicles. It was later determined he had also illegally entered a home. The sheriff's office was able to locate and charge Magana-Albino with the crimes.

The agency encouraged citizens to notify their local law enforcement agencies of suspicious persons, crimes or other relevant information by calling 911 or the Jackson County Sheriff's Office at (706) 367-8718.
