Habersham County Schools offering free summer meals for children

Habersham County School Nutrition is offering free summer meals from June 5 to July 20 at various locations for children younger than 18.
 
Breakfast and lunch meal packs will be available for pick-up every Monday through Thursday from 12:15 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. in ‘The Big Yellow Bus.’
 
There will be no meals available on June 19 and July 3 through July 7.  
 
Below is a list of available pick-up venues:
  • Whispering Woods Coin Laundry, 230 Wayside Street, Cornelia
  • Meadowbrook, 830 W Airport Road, Alto
  • The River Church, 885 Alto Mud Creek Road, Alto
  • Peaks Place Apartments, 100 Peaks Circle, Cornelia
  • Cornelia Library/skatepark, 395 Chattahoochee Street, Cornelia
  • Heritage Garden Apartments, 110 Heritage Garden Drive, Cornelia
  • Cedar Creek Creek Subdivision, 231 Cedar Creek Drive, Alto
  • Woodville Elementary School, 911 Historic Old Hwy 441, Clarkesville
  • Habersham BOE/ Holcomb Street, 132 Stanford Mill Road, Clarkesville
  • Mountain Education, 901 Fairview School Road, Demorest
  • Ivy Hills Subdivision, 308 Sundew Lane, Mt. Airy
Lunch pick-up to be consumed on-site is available at:
  • Cornelia Elementary School from 12:15 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 375 Old Cleveland Road, Cornelia,
  • Demorest Elementary School from 12:15 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 3116 Demorest Mt. Airy Hwy, Demorest,
  • Tim Lee Boys & Girls Club from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 2668 State Hwy 197 S, Mt. Airy,
  • Habersham Central High School from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at 2059 State Hwy 197 S, Mt. Airy,
  • Habersham Ninth Grade Academy from 10:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at 171 Raider Circle, Mt. Airy.
