Hall County asks community for feedback on Comprehensive Plan update

By Sydney Hencil Anchor/Reporter
Hall County Government is planning two workshops on May 9 for citizens to offer their ideas and feedback on its Comprehensive Plan.

The first workshop will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at River Forks Park & Campground.  The second will be held later that day from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Hall County Government Center.

Randi Doveton, Hall County Planning & Development director, said in a press release that the Comprehensive Plan outlines Hall County’s priorities for growth in the community.

Each workshop is free and open to the public.  If citizens are unable to attend, Hall County is offering a toolkit to collect feedback available at the grassroots level. The “Meeting in a Box” provides tools such as instructions for facilitators, presentations for in-person and virtual meetings and worksheets.

Feedback from the “Meeting in a Box” will be collected through July 31.
