A three day advisory to boil water in Forsyth County has been lifted this weekend.
Forsyth County Director of Communications Russell Brown says the boil water advisory for the Shady Grove area has been lifted as of Saturday morning.
The advisory was put into action after a water main break in that area on November 30th created safety concerns for many area homes and businesses.
Brown says that it is now safe to consume and use the county tap water without boiling it in advance.
