Hall Chamber to hold HealthSmart Expo Wednesday

Over 50 health and wellness companies are scheduled to appear at the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce's Heath Smart Expo later this week.

The 16th Annual expo starts Wednesday, October 4th at 7:30 a.m., at the Lanier Technical College's Ramsey Conference Center and will offer free community health screenings from Longstreet Clinic, Northeast Georgia Heath System, Public Health District 2 and other healthcare professionals.  

Several services will be made available to the public, free of charge, including the following:

  • Blood Pressure Check
  • Body Mass Index
  • Cholesterol, Triglyceride & Glucose Testing
  • Carotid Artery Screening
  • Hearing Testing
  • Vision Testing
  • Fall Risk Assessment
  • Flu Shot Available

Also during the Expo, five surgeons from Northeast Georgia Physicians Group and Longstreet Clinic will discuss the variety of robotic surgery opportunities to patients at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Braselton and NGMC Gainesville.

 

The breakfast also features the presentation of 2023 Most Fit Company Awards.  

 

The awards will be presented in three categories (small, medium and large employers) and recognize outstanding businesses that provide wellness, nutrition and fitness opportunities for employees.

 

The breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. Tickets are $15 for Chamber Members and $20 for non-members.  Space will be limited so you should reserve your seat in advance , HERE
