Newsroom's Pet of the Month: meet Simon!

By Lauren Hunter Multimedia Journalist

Simon is a gentle giant.

The 5-year-old Terrier mix is one of the Hall County Animal Shelter's longest residents. As such, he is more than ready to find a forever home!

Simon was an owner surrender, but his past does not define his future. He has passed all behavioral and medical checks, meaning he is ready to go home when his new family comes for him!

Simon's age puts him right on the cusp of being a "senior pet", so his adoption fee is waived!

Think you could use a gentle giant in your life? Meet Simon at the Hall County Animal Shelter. Simon's adoption profile and information on setting up an appointment to meet him are here.

February is also known in Georgia as Spay and Neuter Month. As such, the Hall County Animal Shelter is raising awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering pets.

All pets at the Hall County Animal Shelter are spayed or neutered before they can be adopted. This service helps to prevent unwanted litters, disease, and dumped pets in the community.
