No one was seriously injured Saturday evening following a house fire in northern Hall County.
Firefighters were called to the scene in the 8400 block of Belton Bridge Road just west of Clermont, where Hall County Fire Rescue Division Chief Christie Grice says they found a residence showing heavy smoke and fire.
Grice said all occupants were able to make it out of the home safely, and that crews were forced to use a defensive attack in their attempts to extinguish the fire.
No cause was immediately evident. The Hall County Fire Marshall's Office was called in to investigate.
One person was evaluated on the scene by paramedics, but refused to be transported to the hospital. The American Red Cross was called in to help the displaced family.
