A boat exploded at the gas docks for the Port of Indecision at Margaritaville At Lanier Islands this afternoon.
Zachary Brackett with Hall County Fire Services said when units arrived around 2:30 p.m., they found the boat, as well as a nearby dock, on fire.
Six people sustained injuries in the incident, but the severity of the injuries is unknown. A 16-year-old female and a 13-year-old male were flown to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. A 39-year-old woman was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital by Hall County Fire Services. The other three people refused transport.
The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the incident.
