The strong storms that rolled through the southeast over the weekend took out the racing plans for several tracks and series.
Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway was one of those, as the rains that pelted the area Saturday morning led track officials to cancel the race night. The speedway is slated to return to action on Saturday, May 1. For more information, visit WinderBarrowSpeedway.com.

Georgia’s Senoia Raceway held out until late Saturday afternoon in an effort to get their show in, but finally they too had to give up as showers moved through the area. The track will try again on Saturday, May 1. Visit SenoiaRaceway1969.com for more information.
Anderson Motor Speedway was slated to host two nights of the Must See Racing Sprint Car Series on Friday and Saturday, but that too succumbed to the rain showers of the weekend. The series is now scheduled to compete on May 14 and 15. For more information, visit AndersonMotorSpeedway.com.
The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour was supposed to run the second race of the 2021 season on Sunday at Connecticut’s Stafford Motor Speedway with the annual Spring Sizzler. But impending weather led officials to reschedule the event to Friday, April 30. Visit NASCAR.com for updates.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series saw both events scheduled for the weekend cancelled, with races at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois and at Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois both washed out. Check LucasDirt.com for schedule updates.
