A racist comment spray painted on a car leaves Suwanee police looking for suspects

A racist comment was spray painted on the side of a car outside of Movie Tavern over the weekend. On Friday, February 26, at around 9 p.m., Suwanee Police responded to the Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road location in regards to criminal property damage. The victim’s blue Nissan Altima was spray-painted with a derogatory term on the car’s passenger side.

According to a press release from the Suwanee Police Department, a witness was able to describe suspects, saying at least one was wearing all black clothing, a black mask and had black hair. The witness also stated that they left in an older, white, 4-door sedan.

Suwanee Police are hoping other eyewitnesses may be able to provide some clues. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Detective Dawn Zenglein at 770-904-7642.
