FLOWERY BRANCH — The Lanier Christian girls basketball team is well on its way to the regular-season region championship.
The Lady Lightning (12-0, 8-0 Region 2-3A GAPPS) knocked off Trinity Prep 40-14 to win their 12th straight on Monday at home.
Reece Montgomery scored 10 points to pace LCA, while Ashley Avery and Shyla Sheffield each contributed 6 points. Lexie Robertson chipped in 7 points and had five rebounds. Maegan Nabors added 2 points, four rebounds, one assist and two steals.
LCA is set to play Killian Hill Christian on Tuesday.
