By Wesley Outland

Brent Trimble claimed the biggest win of his career on Saturday night, as he powered to the win in the Upper Big Branch 29 Miners Memorial for the FASTRAK Racing Series at I-77 Speedway in Ripley, West Virginia.

The win was worth a $3,000 payday for the Morgantown, West Virginia native as he became the sixth different winner of the event.

Pole sitter David Pangrazio brought the field to the green flag for the 50 lap feature. He would battle with Dillon Brown for the top spot over the opening laps.

After a series of cautions slowed the event, the drivers settled in for a long green flag run, Trimble moved into contention, clearing Pangazio for the win at the end.

Pangrazio had to settle for second, with Corey Almond in third, Matt Long in fourth and Dillon Brown in fifth.

Eddie Hambrick, Shane Greco, Justin Wofford, Layton Sullivan and Kyle Thomas rounded out the top 10.
