Zack Mitchell led flag-to-flag to score the win in Saturday ngiht’s Ultimate Super Late Model Series race at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, North Carolina.
While leading all 40-laps of the event, the Enoree, South Carolina had to hold off challenges from Ross Bailes and GR Smith to earn the $4,000 payday, and his second series win of the season.
Mitchell started off the night by turning fast time in qualifying with a lap in 15.292 seconds around the 4/10-mile red clay raceway.
Bailes finished in second, with Smith in third, Cla Knight in fourth, and Pearson Lee Williams in fifth.
Matthew Nance, Jeff Smith, Michael Brown, Anthony Sanders and Dennis Franklin rounded out the top 10.
The next scheduled event for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series is set for Saturday, June 20 at 311 Motor Speedway located in Pine Hall, North Carolina.
