UNG hosts virtual town hall for senior adults to learn more about COVID-19

The University of North Georgia's Center for Healthy Aging is hosting a virtual town hall meeting Tuesday, May 19 to educate area senior adults on the impact of COVID-19 on the senior community. 

The online session will last for one hour from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. 

A panel of experts will discuss resources available to older adults with information on how to access them.

The panelists include: 

  • Abby Cox Director, Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Aging Services
  • Pat Freeman CEO, Legacy Link, the North Georgia Mountains Area Agency on Aging
  • Pam Clayton VP Quality Advancement & Regulatory Affairs, Georgia
