By Bryan Pirkle Reporter

Oakwood police are asking for the public's help in identifying a number of suspects involved in separate theft-related incidents last month.

The first incident, according to Oakwood Police Lt. Todd Templeton, occurred on March 7, and saw three individuals shoplift from the Oakwood WalMart.

"The...subjects - two males, one female - took merchandise valued at $350.00, " he said. Pictures of the trio can be found by clicking on the photo at the top of the article.

Templeton noted that one of the male had a unique hand tattoo that could help in providing a positive identification.

The second incident took place on March 15, an occurred over the span of three days after an unidentified victim withdrew cash from the ATM of a local bank.

The original investigation involved searching for a first male suspect that arrived at the bank and examined the victim's bank card. A news release from Oakwood PD on April 10th confirmed that the suspect did not keep the card and he has been cleared of any charges.

Two days later on March 17, a second male suspect took the card to the Oakwood WalMart and used the victim's card to purchase more that $900 worth of items.

This suspect has been identified Jeremy Puckett, age 39, of Gainesville. Puckett was last seen wearing a Superman shirt. Puckett will face felony criminal charges of Financial Transaction Card Theft and Financial Transaction Card Fraud.

A photo of Puckett can also be found by clicking on the photo at the top of the article.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of these subjects is asked to call the Oakwood Police Department at (770) 534-2364.
