*The Amethyst Baroque Ensemble will perform 7:30 p.m., February 22 in the Piedmont College Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.

*The Georgia Mountains Regional Commission's Career Coach will visit the Spout Springs Library in Flowery Branch February 19,10 AM – 2 PM, to help job-seekers with their search for employment.

*For the third year in a row, the University of North Georgia has been designated as a top-producing institution for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.  UNG also is the only public and private university in Georgia to receive the recognition for the student program in the current academic year.

*The Hall County Sheriff’s Office’s 2020 ADVANCE Youth Camp will be held June 1-5, 8:00-5:00, daily on the Free Chapel Main Campus.  Meals, T-shirts, and field trips will be included.  It is free and is for 9-12-year-olds.  A parent or guardian must attend the camp registration day on May 9 at Academy Sports on Dawsonville Highway in Gainesville. *The inaugural run of “The Bra and Panty Club,” a play by Brenau associate professor of theatre Gay Hammond, which opened in Oakwood last night, will continue tonight and Sunday and again Feb. 18-22.  The performances are at the Ed Cabell Theatre on the University of North Georgia Gainesville campus in Oakwood  Click here for more information.

*Kubota Manufacturing in Gainesville was recognized this week by Gov. Brian Kemp at the first-ever "Georgia Made Day" at the State Capitol.  Kubota was recognized as an inaugural member of the Georgia Made program.  Georgia Made is intended to raise awareness and show support for local businesses and manufacturers across Georgia.
