Wag-alongs: a tale of Dino, the gentle giant

By Lauren Hunter Multimedia Journalist

The holidays are just around the corner- making this time of year the perfect opportunity to welcome a furry friend into your home.

Unfortunately senior-aged pets often get overlooked, which is why for this edition of "Wag-alongs: Tales from the Furry Side", Jacobs Media General Manager Bill Maine and AccessWDUN reporter Lauren Hunter chose Dino, an eight-year-old Terrier mix, for a holiday-themed adventure at the Gainesville Civic Center.

Dino currently resides at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia and is ready to find is forever family! He already understands basic commands and behaves well on a leash. While he could make a great snuggle buddy on a cold night, he also enjoys playing and a good jog!

Learn more about Dino and how you can meet him by watching the video above.

UPDATE: Dino has been adopted by none other than Bill Maine himself! To find more adoptable dogs at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, check out their adoptable pets page on their website.
