Nearly 550 new housing units on the table in Braselton

Plans for 529 new housing units are expected to be considered by the Braselton Planning Commission when it meets later this month.

Stolz Partners, LLC, wants to put 240 multi-family homes on 77 acres on Braselton Parkway at Georgia 53 and Callicott Holdings, LLC, has plans for 289 multi-family units on 36.24 acres on Thompson Mill Road.

In addition, the council is being asked to amend the zoning for 56.6 acres on Thompson Mill Road at Georgia 211 where Fountainhead Residential Development, LLC, plans a development for Senior Independent Living, Senior Assisted Living, and Senior Memory Care.

The commission meets September 23.
