Man pleads guilty to 2018 Gainesville home invasion

A Newnan man has been sentenced to four decades in prison following his guilty plea in a Gainesville home invasion case.

Hall County District Attorney Lee Darragh said in an email statement issued Friday Andrew Ryan Faith, 38, was indicted in June 2018 on charges of burglary, aggravated assault and terroristic threats for an incident on Industrial Blvd. in February 2018.

Darragh said Faith committed the crimes while he was participating in a work release program through the Phillips Transitional Center. 

Faith pleaded guilty to the crimes on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and was immediately sentenced to a total sentence of 70 years with 40 years to serve in jail. 

Darragh said Faith's case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant DA Kelley Robertson.
