Former Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox was transported to the hospital Tuesday after suffering an apparent stroke, according to the AJC.
The AJC said no specifics on his condition have been released.
Cox took part in the opening day festivities before the Braves' game against the Cubs on Monday.
The Hall of Fame manager led the Braves to 14 consecutive division championships, five NL pennants and one World Series title in 1995.
