Hiett wins B.J. Parker Memorial at Talladega Short Track

EASTABOGA, Ala. - Jason Hiett dominated Saturday night’s B.J. Parker Memorial to score the win at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama.

It marked the third career Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series victory for the Oxford, Alabama racer, giving him a $4,200 payday in the series season finale.

Hiett started the night by setting fast time in qualifying. He followed that by leading all 42 laps en route to the victory.

Jack Hale finished in second, with Dillon Tidmore in third, Jason Frame in fourth and Ashton Winger in fifth.

David Breazeale finished in sixth, clinching the series championship for the 2019 season. The Four Corners, Mississippi racer is the 24th different series champion in the 36 year history of the series.

Todd Morrow, Josh Putnam Ronnie Johnson and Dallas Cooper rounded out the top ten.
