No one was injured, but gunshots were fired Thursday morning in the parking lot of McDonald's on Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville.
Sgt. Kevin Holbrook with the Gainesville Police Department said investigators have been interviewing witnesses to determine exactly what happened.
He said at this point it appears some patrons began arguing inside the fast food restaurant around 8:30 a.m. The argument spilled over into the parking lot, where at least one shot was fired.
Holbrook said investigators don't know yet what led to the argument. They have no suspects yet.
