The Hall County Sheriff's Dept. said Davis' victim was a 26-year-old aquaintance. The two were in a dispute, which led to Davis firing a shotgun at the victim.

The victim was struck with several pellets, but his injuries were non-life-threatening.

"He was hit in the upper arm area," Lt. Scott Ware with the Hall County Sheriff's Dept., said. "There were no vital organs hit or anything, it was considered somewhat superficial."

The victim was treated at the hosptial and released the same day, while Davis was booked at the Hall County Jail, charged with aggravated assault. No bond has been set for Davis at this time. The case remains under investigation.
